The Goal of Little League...
To help youngsters develop citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well being through sports. To help youngsters learn their own strengths & weaknesses, the meanings of sportsmanship and cooperation, the essence of competition, and the qualities that constitute effective leadership.
Foothill Little League Baseball at Arroyo Verde Park is a non-profit organization run solely by dedicated volunteers. Whose mission is to provide a safe, instructional and fun environment for the children of Ventura, California, ages 4-16. Chartered under the umbrella of Little League International, Inc, and Little League District 63 of Southern California, We provide a safe place for the youth of our community to play baseball, make new friends, build self-confidence and self-esteem. Our ongoing goal is to provide everyone involved with a quality and positive experience that promotes sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork.
"Baseball is about talent, hard work, and strategy. But at the deepest level, it's about love, integrity and respect." - Pat Gillick
